About the event
Formed 3 years ago they “Jet lagged the globe” heralding the release their album “Postcards From Tomorrow”.
It is the culmination of recording, writing, touring & performing international shows & festivals in Australia , New Orleans, Ireland, UK, NYC, France and Canada. ChangoTRee have captured a real global/local essence in the “Muse” with the merging of swampy-roots-blues- grooves, funky-folk, surf-rasta with soaring vocals. It all started rolling when changoTRee’s debut album “Home” had a number 1 on the AMRAP, AirIt charts in 2017.
ChangoTRee is, she, Ree Liddell, the elegant waxing Vocals dobro, mandolin acoustic guitar & he, Ian Treloar, the surf dog carving Vocals, 8 string acoustic-electric. guitar-synth. Driving the bus is Simon Dewar on drums percussion & harmony. As Rhythms Magazine head writer/review Tony Hillier declared “changoTRee are -blessed with chameleonic vocals to gutbucket blues to slide--drenched Bonnie Raitt passion".
